News Amy Spanger Will Bring Her Show of Glamorous and Not-As-Glamorous Tales to Birdland Amy Spanger, who recently starred in the Broadway revival of Chicago, will bring her solo show to Birdland March 16 at 7 PM.

Here are how the 9:30 PM shows are billed: "In collaboration with her partners, musical whiz-kid Kris Kukul, and husband/ director Brian Shepard, Amy is proud to present Amy Spanger — Live at Birdland! with special guest Elizabeth Stanley, an evening of pop, music theatre, rock, country, R&B and candid storytelling. The show will feature some of the music that put her on the map, including 'Don't Stop Believing' from Rock of Ages, 'Always True To You Darling In My Fashion' from Kiss Me Kate, and 'Come To Your Senses' from tick, tick...BOOM! She'll also share some glamorous and not-as-glamorous tales as she reflects on the places she's lived and people she's lived with along the great white way, including a budding schizophrenic, a pair of cocaine enthusiasts, and a couple of husbands."

Spanger has also been seen in Sunset Boulevard; Kiss Me, Kate; Urinetown; The Wedding Singer; Rock of Ages; and Elf. She's guest-starred on "Royal Pains," "Ed," "Law and Order: SVU," "Six Feet Under" and "Bored To Death." She also played the depraved drug fiend Sally in Showtime's original movie musical "Reefer Madness."
