Atlanta’s beloved Randi Garza will make the famed ascent of Eva. At her side on her iconic balcony will be world-renowned Argentinian tango and opera singer Cesar Restrepo as Juan Peron. Steaming things up in the background with his talk of revolution will be Broadway’s Charlie Brady as Che.
“I'm so lucky to be back at Serenbe Playhouse for such a powerful show,” says Garza. “Alongside a cast with just as much heart as they have talent, and under the guidance of my favorite creative team in the city, Evita will be a life changing experience.”
“I am so thrilled to be a part of the Serenbe Playhouse experience - and especially with this show,” mentions Brady. “The environmental aspect that the playhouse utilizes couldn’t be more appropriate and exciting than it is for Evita. Che is one of the most challenging and creatively fulfilling roles I have ever tackled - and to experience it with such a talented and powerhouse cast in the magical setting of Serenbe is truly a unique gift!”
Joining the core trio will be Atlanta favorites Chase Peacock as Augustín Magaldi and Ally Duncan as the Mistress. The ensemble will feature Becca Potter, Nathan Lubeck, AJ Klopach, Jenna Jackson, Jaclyn Helms, Cherise James, Shelby Folks, Shannon McCarren, Terrence Smith and David-Aaron Roth. Director Brian Clowdus heads a production team that includes music director Chris Brent Davis, choreographer Bubba Carr and assistant director Ryan Oliveti.
