News Andersen, Asher and Belfry Take Part in My Queer Youth Concert The Storefront's Friday Night Stories series continues April 30 with My Queer Youth.

The series, which debuted in January 2004, theatricalizes short stories by utilizing a cast of singers and actors. My Queer Youth, penned by Phil Geoffrey Bond, is a coming-of-age tale about a young man growing up gay in the cornfields of Indiana. Among those scheduled to perform include writer Bond, Tom Andersen, Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Scott Coulter, Brandon Cutrell, Erik Pickering, Michael Stewert and Lennie Watts. The evening will include songs by Michael Rupert and Jerry Colker, Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Sondheim and Lennie Watts with musical direction by Ray Fellman. Show time is 9 PM.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. There is an $8 cover ($5 for MAC and Cabaret Hotline members) and two-drink minimum; call (212) 255-5438 for reservations.
