Life on Earth: The Songs of Craig Carnelia will be presented at the West 42nd Street venue at 9:30 PM with encore performances scheduled for March 9 at 9:30 PM and March 17 at 6 PM. The four-person cast comprises Carey Anderson (Mamma Mia!), D.B. Bonds (Make Me a Song), Lisa Brescia (Wicked) and Evan Harrington (Avenue Q). Composer Carnelia directs. Craig Carnelia wrote the score for Broadway's Is There Life After High School? and contributed four songs to the musical Working (Tony nomination). He also penned the lyrics for Sweet Smell of Success (Tony nomination) and Imaginary Friends, both with music by Marvin Hamlisch. Carnelia also wrote the score for the Off-Broadway musical Three Postcards. He is the recipient of the Johnny Mercer Award as Emerging American Songwriter, the first annual Gilman and Gonzalez-Falla Musical Theatre Award and the Kleban Award for distinguished lyric writing.
