News Andrew D. Hamingson Appointed Executive Director of St. Ann's Warehouse St. Ann's Warehouse has announced that former Public Theater executive director Andrew D. Hamingson has been tapped to take on the same role at the Brooklyn-based theatre company, according to the New York Times.

Hamingson resigned from his position at the Public in early 2011. He has been consulting with St. Ann's during the course of the past year and will officially take on his role there March 1 as the company's first executive director. Susan Feldman is the artistic director of St. Ann's Warehouse.

Hamingson served as the executive director of the Public Theater from 2008-2011, as well as the managing director of Atlantic Theater Company from 2004-2008. Prior to that, he was the director of development for the Manhattan Theatre Club from 1999-2004. In his position as executive director, Hamingson helped to bring the Public's Tony Award-winning revival of Hair to Broadway in 2008 and spearheaded the Broadway transfers of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and The Merchant of Venice in recent seasons.

As previously reported, St. Ann's Warehouse will relocate to a 19,000 square foot industrial space at 29 Jay Street, located three blocks from the company's current address at the completion of the 2012 spring season.

Executives plan to begin offering programming at 29 Jay for the fall 2012 season.

St. Ann's is currently presenting the world premiere of Early Plays, a collaboration between the Wooster Group and the New York City Players, through March 11. Visit artsatstanns.org.
