News Andrew Lippa Will Perform Alongside College Students to Fund Musical Theatre Scholarships The Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance, in collaboration with The Bowman Guest Artist Series and the Harrison New Works Commission, will present Andrew Lippa and Friends in Concert, in which proceeds will fund musical theatre scholarships, Oct. 17.

At the 7:30 PM event, Lippa will be joined by Texas State students and singer-actress Kaitlin Hopkins (Noises Off, bare, Bat Boy) for an evening of his work.

A silent auction, with theatre memorabilia signed by artists such as Stephen Sondheim, Gene Simmons, Danny Burstein and Bryan Cranston, will be held in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center prior to the show.
