Entertainment for the evening includes an original song by Lloyd G. Miller that features a large group of dancers headed by Nate Cooper; American Dance Machine For The 21st Century and singer Orfeh performing a number from Jerome Robbins Broadway; and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet performing “Meditation” by Balanchine.

There will also be special appearances and performances by Chita Rivera as well as artists from New York City Ballet; Arthur Murray Dancers; Big Apple Circus and Daniel Cyr; Dancing Classrooms Youth Dance Company; Hubbard Street Dance Chicago; Hybrid Movement Company; Jason Samuels Smith; Tigerpalast Varieté and Theater Frankfurt.

The entertainment is produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo.

The Rolex Dance Award will be presented to Liza Minnelli, and the Career Transition For Dancers Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards will be awarded to Joni Berry, Michele Herbert, Gerald M. Appelstein and Arthur Murray International (celebrating its 100th anniversary).

The show will be followed by a supper in The Grand Ballroom at The Hilton New York.

Career Transition For Dancers, with offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago, has "helped over 5,600 professional dancers nationwide identify their unique talents in preparation for establishing new careers when dance is no longer an option."
