News Anne Einhorn, Primary Stages Company Member, Dies at 89 Anne Einhorn, who over many years worked in several capacities at the Off-Broadway nonprofit theatre company Primary Stages, died on July 11. She was 89.

Since 1985 Ms. Einhorn served at Primary Stages as a public relations director, press agent, board member and trusted advisor. Described as "an essential fixture since its inception," she brought with her a wealth of experience from previous work at Actors’ Equity, Society for Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), AMAS Repertory, Joseph Jefferson Theatre, No Smoking Playhouse, and the Foundation for the Extension and Development of American Professional Theatre (FEDAPT), which she helped establish.

In 2010 the Primary Stages Anne and Marvin School of the Performing Arts (ESPA) was named in honor of her and her husband Marvin. The Einhorns did not make a financial gift to the theatre in return for naming rights, as is usually the case with such tributes, but were honored for their time commitment to the company.
