Rachel Miner, currently appearing in Broadway's The Diary of Anne Frank will wed Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin sometime this year, according to an announcement from Culkin's manager.
The wedding date has not been set.
Both the couple are 17 and have been friends since they met at the Professional Children's School in NY. They issued a joint statement saying, "We're so happy and proud that we found each other at such a young age. We look forward to spending our lives together."
Miner plays Anne Frank's sister Margot in the play about a Jewish family hiding from the Nazis in World War II Holland. Culkin made his mark in the 1990 Home Alone, one of the most successful film comedies ever, and its 1992 sequel, among other films. He also appeared in a film version of The Nutcracker.
Anne Frank spokesman Bob Fennell said, "The company wishes them the best and hopes that everyone will afford them their privacy."
