Anne Heche, heading a new cast in the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning Proof on Broadway, guests on ABC's "The View" Aug. 1.
The actress, known for her public battle with emotional demons, her relationship with actress Ellen Degeneres and film and TV work, earned solid reviews in her Broadway debut, playing Catherine, the daughter of a mentally-ill math genius. The cast includes Kate Jennings Grant, Len Cariou and Neil Patrick Harris.
