Dexter Roberts was eliminated during the April 17 broadcast after he received the fewest votes. From Fayette, AL, the 22-year-old sang “Muckalee Creek Water” on the April 16 performance show.
The competition will continue April 23 at 8 PM ET when the Top Six – C.J. Harris, Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, Alex Preston and Sam Woolf – get a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll as they perform two songs each, one country and one rock.
