Joyce debuted her cabaret act with two sold-out stints at New York's Don't Tell Mama before heading to the Plush Room, where she will be accompanied by musical director Emily Olin on piano with Yanko Valdes on bass. Show time at the San Francisco venue is 8 PM. Second Time Around is described in this manner: "In a sense, a small Broadway show; in reality, a trip through the ins and outs of a woman's best days, not so best days, but always days that keep us asking for more." Cabaretgoers can expect to hear such tunes as "It's Time," "I'm Beginning to See the Light," "A Sunday Kind of Love," "Funny Girl," "Money, Money, Money" and "Second Time Around."
Elaine Joyce starred in the title role of the Broadway musical Sugar, earning a Theatre World Award for her Main Stem debut. After relocating to the West Coast, she made numerous television appearances, including stints on "Magnum, P.I.," "Hart to Hart," "Hotel," "Murder, She Wrote," "Who's the Boss?," "Fantasy Island" and "Beverly Hills, 90210." The actress' other theatrical credits include productions of Sugar Babies; No, No, Nanette; Mack and Mabel; Damn Yankees; Sweet Charity; South Pacific; and Promises, Promises.
