The co-production with Alberta Theatre Projects comes directly from a successful run at ATP's playRites Festival in Calgary. Tarragon artistic director Richard Rose directs Another Home Invasion, which centers on the elderly Jean (played by Lipman), who is feisty and tough as she cares for her husband Alec.

According to Tarragon, "Relegated to a long waiting list, Jean waits for the day they will be admitted to the retirement home of their choice, hoping for a little relief from the daily grind. Then a troubled stranger lands on her doorstep and Jean is forced to take a long hard look at how invasions of our privacy, independence and home life transform us, especially in the last years of our lives."

Opening is March 18. Performances play to April 19.

The production team includes set designer Scott Reid, costume designer Jenifer Darbellay, lighting designer David Fraser and stage manager Emma Laird.

MacLeod's plays include many one-woman plays, including Jewel, The Hope Slide and The Shape of a Girl. A Victoria-based writer, she has worked extensively at Tarragon in the last two decades premiering four of her plays there.

Lipman was last seen at Tarragon in Scorched.
