LOS ANGELES -- Rent is returning to Los Angeles. This time the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will play the Shubert Theatre. The national touring company, which started in Boston (rather than the one that began in La Jolla before moving into the Ahmanson last season) will check into the Shubert for a Jan. 20 - Feb. 28, 1999 run. The same company will play Orange County Performing Arts Center August 5-10.
