The show has a book by Eduardo Machado and Lynne Taylor-Corbett, derived from an original concept by Gheesling. The music is by Philip Huxley, lyrics by Machado, while the Flamenco music is by Roberto Castellon and additional lyrics by Huxley. The workshop is directed and choreographed by Taylor-Corbett. The four-show event runs from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29 at INTAR Theatre at 508 West 53rd St. at 10th Ave.
The story is set on the eve of the Spanish Civil War, and concerns a writer show is "torn between facing the rising tide of fascism or following his friends Picasso and Dali into exile. As his characters torment him, the worlds he has created in his books come to life in music and dance. "
