The reading at the Players Club in Manhattan features the talents of Jim Brochu, Robin Leslie Brown, Nora Chester, Alison Cimmet, Alison Fraser, Gibson Frazier, Jack Koenig, Ron McClary, Patrick Page, John Plumpis, James Prendergast, Scott Schafer, A.J. Shively and Marianne Tatum. Show time is 7 PM.

David Staller, the acclaimed singer-actor who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw offerings, handles those same duties for this reading.

The Apple Cart, press notes state, is Shaw’s "1929 farcical comedy of Royals set in the future. King Magnus (Patrick Page) must juggle his rebellious Cabinet, his tempestuous mistress (Alison Fraser), his ambitious queen, and even an American ambassador determined to colonize England all on one wild day."

Past participants include Blair Brown, Mark Kudisch, Kerry Butler, Tyne Daly, Jonathan Hadary, Daniel Jenkins, Rebecca Luker, Michael Cerveris, Karen Ziemba, Michele Pawk, Bruce Vilanch, Jack Gilpin and George S. Irving.
