News Are We Freaks?, End of the Trail and Camouflage Set for 2009 Frigid New York Festival Off-Off-Broadway's Horse Trade Theatre has announced the productions that will be part of the 2009 Frigid Festival, which kicks off Feb. 25, 2009 in New York.

Founded in 2007 by Horse Trade and San Francisco's EXIT Theatre, the third annual Frigid Festival will run through March 8, 2009, and showcase over 150 performances and 30 shows. Venues for the festival include the Kraine Theater and the Red Room, as well as UNDER St. Marks.

Local shows for Frigid 2009 include 95/turnpike/95: Chickens in Jersey, Are We Freaks?, BAGS: Obsessions of a Hoardaholic, Dalton Trambo’s Johnny Got His Gun, Hysteri-Killy! A One Frrooklyneak Show, Jet of Blood or the Ball of Glass, Live! ...at the Cockpit: Will at Work with the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, Melting in Madras, My Mothers Monologues, Recess, Son of Man, The Dysfunctional Guide to Home, Perfection, Martial Bliss, and Passionate Hot Rom, The Expatriates, The Giant’s Causeways, The Question House, The Surprise and Y.

Participating productions from across the U.S. include Brainstorming, End of the Trail, Jihad for Vent and Dummy, Now, and at the Hour, Oens, The Black Jew Dialogues and The Heffner Monologues.

International Frigid 2009 shows are Camouflage, Coffee Dad, Chicken Mom, and the Fabulous Buddha Boy, Freedom 85!, How Does a Drug Deal Become a Decent 3rd Date?, On Second Thought and The Solitary.
