News Are We There Yet?, a New Musical Revue, Gets World Premiere in Wichita March 24-April 3 Stage One of Wichita is presenting the world premiere of an intimate new American revue, Are We There Yet?, from the creators of A Christmas Survival Guide and Heaven Help Us!

The Miracle or 2 Productions, Inc., staging of the new show, written by James Hindman, Ray Roderick and Cheryl Stern, "uses song, dance and sketch comedy to take a fresh, contemporary look at the typical — and not so typical — American family."

Music is by John Glaudini, with direction and choreography by Roderick, who staged Off-Broadway's The Prince and the Pauper.

The Wichita cast includes Will Erhat, Ellie Mooney, Barb Schoenhofer and Tally Sessions, playing March 24-April 3.

According to production notes, "A versatile cast of four holds up a mirror to modern family life, creating a uniquely entertaining evening of song, dance and sketch comedy."

The title is "a question we ask ourselves everyday, as we try to understand where we've come from, where we fit in, and where we're going on this madcap, bumpy, yet thoroughly wonderful family trip…" Hindman, Roderick and Glaudini also collaborated on I Love New York, A Christmas Survival Guide and most recently, Heaven Help Us! A Swingin' New Rat Pack Musical, which had its world premiere last season at Florida Stage and The Denver Center.

Are We There Yet? plays at The Mary Jane Teall Theatre at The Century II Convention Center in Wichita, KS.

Designers are J. Branson (scenic), Jeffery Meek (costume), Sean Roberson (lighting). Music director is Angela Fullarton.

Kathy Page-Hauptman is executive director of Wichita's Stage One. For ticket information, call (316) 262-5330.
