Currently running at the West Side venue is Missed Connections NYC, an evening of short works and music from Ars Nova's Play Group, which continues through Jan. 31.

Upcoming mainstage productions include Iconis' Bloodsong of Love, which will begin a six week engagement April 1. John Simpkins will direct. Following will be a new play from Carly Mensch, directed by Jason Eagan. A four-week engagement will begin Sept. 8.

Chris Rozzi's Outré Island, currently in developmental residence at Ars Nova, will begin a six-week engagement Feb. 4 and continue through March 11. Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation) will direct the production that has music by Raja Azar.

July programs include the three-week Summer Music Marathon and the return of ANT Fest in the fall. Thirty acts will be featured in the five-week festival of arts programming.

Ars Nova has also announced that the 2010 artists in residence are Stephen Brackett (director-in-residence), Amy Herzog (playwright-in-residence) and Steven Levenson (artist-in-residence).
