News As You Like It, Fringe Hit, Reopens OOB, Oct. 10 As You Like It, presented by Chashama and Liars' Club, is the second hit of the 2000 New York International Fringe Festival to reemerge with the NYC fall season. The production of Shakespeare's comedy, which won the FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for its director-designer Erica Schmidt, will run Oct. 10-29 at 111 Times Square.

As You Like It, presented by Chashama and Liars' Club, is the second hit of the 2000 New York International Fringe Festival to reemerge with the NYC fall season. The production of Shakespeare's comedy, which won the FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for its director-designer Erica Schmidt, will run Oct. 10-29 at 111 Times Square.

Angela Goethals heads the cast as Rosalind, opposite Johnny Giacalone's Orlando. Both were in last summer's outdoor Romeo and Juliet at the Present Company Theatorium. Schmidt also directed Romeo. Goethals won an Obie Award for her 1991 performance in Lynda Barry's The Good Times Are Killing Me.

The first Fringe production to find a post-festival life was Tiny Ninja Theatre Presents Macbeth.
