News Atlantic Reading Series Features Carpenter, Goldberg, Parks The 2002 edition of "Atlantic 453," the Atlantic Theatre Company's play development series, will feature new works by Bridget Carpenter, Michael Dowling, Jessica Goldberg, Maggie Kiley, Scott Organ, Brian Parks, Philip Osment, Dimitry Lipkin and David Wiener.

The 2002 edition of "Atlantic 453," the Atlantic Theatre Company's play development series, will feature new works by Bridget Carpenter, Michael Dowling, Jessica Goldberg, Maggie Kiley, Scott Organ, Brian Parks, Philip Osment, Dimitry Lipkin and David Wiener.

"Atlantic 453" began life last year. The series is meant to focus "on the story and storyteller," according to the theatre. The schedule, which runs from Feb. 12 to March 23, is as follows:

Readings (free admission):
Feb. 12 at 7 PM: The Dearly Beloved by Philip Osment
Feb. 25 at 7 PM: Skitaletz (The Wanderer) by Dimitry Lipkin
Feb. 28 at 7 PM: System Wonderland by David Wiener (commissioned by Atlantic)

Presentation (Admission $5):

March 14 and 15 at 8 PM: The Faculty Room by Bridget Carpenter, directed by Neil Pepe (commissioned by Atlantic) The New Works Series (Admission $5)

March 18-23 at 7:30 PM: Featuring works by Michael Dowling, Jessica Goldberg (Good Thing), Maggie Kiley, Scott Organ and Brian Parks (Americana Absurdum). John Clancy, former artistic director of the New York Fringe Festival, will direct the Dowling.

"Atlantic 453" is housed in Atlantic Theater Company's black-box space at 453 West 16th Street (between 9th and 10th Ave.) in New York City. For reservations, please call (212) 691-5919, x-123.
