Managing producer Denise Ragan, co-founder of the Attic Theatre, is taking an extended leave of absence to address personal family matters. Steve Owsley has been promoted from associate artistic director to artistic director. His new position will include artistic oversight of all Attic projects (both ensemble and outside shows).Patricia Sutherland, who has been the resident stage manager for the past six months, now assumes the duties of production manager. She will coordinate all areas of production to assist with the growing needs of the company. Sutherland is an ensemble member of the Factory Theatre, Chicago, where she wrote and directed Dancing With the Past. She also stage managed the Factory's L.A. production of Being at Choice by Mike Meredith. Her next project will be the Attic's production of Whose Life is it Anyway? by Brian Clark, which is set to open Feb. 17, 2000.
