News Attic to Revive Last Summer At Blue Fish Cove, Oct. 14-Nov. 28 Jane Chambers' award-winning lesbian drama Last Summer at Blue Fish Cove is being revived at the Attic Theatre Center. The play won a Drama-Logue and many other critical prizes when it was first produced in L.A. in 1980, when it ran for three years. The production also received a proclamation from Los Angeles for Outstanding Theatre.

Jane Chambers' award-winning lesbian drama Last Summer at Blue Fish Cove is being revived at the Attic Theatre Center. The play won a Drama-Logue and many other critical prizes when it was first produced in L.A. in 1980, when it ran for three years. The production also received a proclamation from Los Angeles for Outstanding Theatre.The ATC's revival will have one preview, Oct. 14, and open Oct. 15 and will run through Nov. 28. Blue Fish deals with a woman trying to cope with a life-threatening illness while in the prime of life. Though all of the characters in the play are lesbians, Blue Fish was well received by crossover audiences during its original run in L.A.
