Philip Jackson, who has had a severe case of the flu and temporarily lost his voice, has withdrawn from The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband.

He will be replaced by Michael Attwell, who will play Alison Steadman's husband and Daisy Donovan's lover.

Michael Attwell appeared in The Colour of Justice at the Tricycle and on television, both directed by Nicholas Kent. His other recent theatre credits include The Man Who Has All The Luck at the Sheffield Crucible, No One Sees The Video at the Royal Court and Sunday in the Park with George at the National Theatre.

The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband begins previews at the New Ambassador's Theatre Sept. 9 and opens a week later on the Sept. 16.
