Film & TV News Audra McDonald Goes for the High Note in This Beauty and the Beast Clip The Tony winner plays an opera-singing wardrobe in the upcoming film.

A high C is one way to make an entrance. Take a look above at six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe, the opera singer-turned-enchanted wardrobe, in Disney's upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast.

In the clip, McDonald (as the CGI Garderobe) shows off her opera, comedy, and dressing skills as she gives Belle—played by Emma Watson—an impromptu French Romantic era makeover. Looking on are Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette.

The Bill Condon-helmed film, which also stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, and Emma Thompson, arrives in movie theatres March 17.
