Lady Day marks McDonald’s official West End debut. She made Broadway history with her performance as Billie Holiday, earning her sixth Tony Award to become the first woman to win Tonys in all four eligible acting categories. She also holds the record for the most Tony Award wins of any actor in competitive Tony categories.
Directed by Lonny Price, who also helmed the Broadway run, Lady Day is currently scheduled to run through September 9.
