News Audra McDonald's 26-City Concert Tour Will Include Evening at Carnegie Hall Six-time Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald, who recently ended her critically acclaimed run in Broadway's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, will launch a 26-city tour in December.

The tour will kick off Dec. 2 at Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall and will continue through May 9, 2015, at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Greenvale, NY.

Stops along the tour also include McDonald's return to Carnegie Hall (Dec. 12) and Boston’s Symphony Hall (March 1) as well as her debut at Madrid’s Teatro Real (Jan. 31).

At New York's Carnegie Hall, the acclaimed singing actress will be joined by music director and pianist Andy Einhorn, bassist Mark Vanderpoel and drummer Gene Lewin for a performance featuring many songs that are new to her repertoire.

McDonald also earned Tony Awards for her work in The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime and A Raisin in the Sun. Her work on stage also includes Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny with Patti LuPone, as well as Tony-nominated performances in 110 in the Shade and Marie Christine. On screen she has appeared in the television adaptations of "A Raisin in the Sun," "Wit" and "Annie." She is known to television audiences for "Private Practice" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Her solo albums include "Go Back Home" (2013), "Way Back to Paradise" (1998), "How Glory Goes" (2000), "Happy Songs" (2002) and "Build a Bridge" (2006).
