In Split, Arthur flies in a panic to Los Angeles to salvage his long time affair with Clare, a fifty-something literary manager who, tired of waiting for Arthur to divorce his wife, has decided to marry someone else. While trying to figure out if he should leave his wife for this woman he so obviously loves, Arthur keeps getting advice from various strangers that only he can hear.

Simon won an Oscar for his short documentary film, "Why Man Creates." His playwriting credits include Walking to Waldheim, L.A. Under Siege, Elaine's Daughter and The Old Lady's Guide to Survival.

Owen Murphy stars as Arthur with Elizabeth Benedict as Clare and Jack Powell as Speaker, embodiment of the voices in Arthur's head.
