Australian stage star Maree Johnson, a veteran of The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and West Side Story Down Under, begins a monthlong cabaret stint 8 PM April 7 at Eighty Eight's in Greenwich Village.

Johnson's acclaimed cabaret work in Sydney in 1998 was followed by a New York debut at the Manhattan Cabaret Convention at Town Hall.

Her Eighty Eight's dates are 8 PM April 7, 14, 21 and 28.

Included in her repertoire is a heavy dollop of show tunes, including Stephen Sondheim's "A Parade in Town/Merrily We Roll Along," Jerry Herman's "Before the Parade Passes By," Strouse and Adams' "How Lovely To Be A Woman," Bock and Harnick's "Will He Like Me?" and "Vanilla Ice Cream," Jason Robert Brown's "Stars and Moon," Maltby and Shire's "Patterns," Ahrens and Flaherty's "Times Like This," Weill's "Lost in the Stars" and "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" and the Gershwins' "Do It Again." and "Treat Me Rough."
