One of the most talked about plays coming out of Vienna in recent years can now be seen on TV. Elisabeth Jelinek´s Ein Sportstueck, which has opened at Vienna´s Burgtheater on Jan. 23, will have its TV-premiere on 3-SAT, May 21, 10 PM.

3-SAT is a cooperation of German, Swiss and Austrian TV-stations with an emphasis on arts and entertainment that can be received in large parts of Europe. Viewers can hit the hay at 3 AM, as only the five-hour and not the seven-hour version was recorded at the "Berliner Theatertreffen" some weeks ago.

Before the Burgtheater will close for its summer break in July and August, Ein Sportstueck will be shown two more times: The five-hour version, June 21 (6 PM), and, for the last time ever, the seven-hour version, June 27 (4 PM).

Tickets can be ordered at +43-1-514 44 0.
