News Autumn 2016 Edition of Broadway Trading Cards Now Available The Lights of Broadway Show Cards offer 120 new images of current Broadway stars and shows on baseball-style cards.

The fall 2016 edition of The Lights of Broadway Show Cards—baseball card-style trading cards featuring images of current stars and shows—is now available.

The 120 cards include images of Cynthia Erivo, Tony-winning Celie in The Color Purple; Javier Muñoz, who plays Alexander Hamilton in Hamilton; Bette Midler, who will play the title role of Hello, Dolly! later this season, plus Corbin Bleu, Carmen Cusack, John Goodman, Mandy Patinkin, and Nick Cordero, among many more.

The cards are the brainchild of illustrator Justin “Squigs” Robertson and Tony and Emmy-Award-winning theatrical producer and filmmaker Dori Berinstein. The latest edition (the first arrived in summer 2015) features the “new and notable” on Broadway, as well as the legendary and revered actors, directors, writers, designers, shows, lore, and personalities. The back of each card offers bios and fun facts about each subject.

Sold in packs of five for $5, the cards will be able to be purchased in person at Theatre Circle on West 44th Street in Manhattan, starting at 10 AM ET November 12. Starting at noon that day the cards will also be sold at One Shubert Alley and Theatre Circle On Broadway stores in the Times Square area. They can also be purchased online now at Thelightsofbroadway.nyc.

The new collection includes several special sub-collections, including “If It Only Even Runs a Minute,” which consists of underappreciated musicals; and the “Golden Age” series, celebrating artists whose careers primarily thrived in or before the 1960s. Also, ten cards from the now sold-out first edition will be reissued.
