News Avenue Q, The Thing About Men Added to "Broadway in Bryant Park" Summer Series As the new Broadway season takes shape, the participants in this year's "Broadway in Bryant Park" series shuffles.

Added to the lineup — in place of some shows that are no longer running — are newcomers Avenue Q, The Thing About Men, From My Hometown and old favorites Stomp, Urinetown.

06.7 Lite FM presents "Broadway in Bryant Park" starting July 10 and continuing every Thursday through Aug. 21 at the midtown green. The event, which features excerpts from some of the current and upcoming Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals, plays middays at the park from 12:30 PM -2 PM.

The current line-up (subject to change) is as follows:

 

 

  • Big River, 42nd Street, From My Hometown and Nine - July 10
  •  

     

  • Hank Williams: Lost Highway, The Phantom of the Opera, Dream A Little Dream and Man of La Mancha - July 17
  •  

     

  • The Thing About Men, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Café a Go Go and Gypsy - July 24
  •  

     

  • Prince and the Pauper, Stomp, Urinetown and The Lion King - July 31
  •  

     

  • Movin’ Out, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret and Mamma Mia! - Aug. 7
  •  

     

  • Chicago, Rent and Aida - Aug. 14
  •
