News Bad Dates Extends One Week at Playwrights Horizons, to July 6 Popular demand is prompting more Bad Dates, the new solo-actress play by Theresa Rebeck, at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Sharp Studio Theater.

Julie White will continue her turn as the single woman who tries on shoes and tells horror stories about nights out on the town, to July 6, one week longer than announced. John Benjamin Hickey directs the world premiere. Playwrights Horizons is at 416 W. 42nd Street.

"Bad Dates concerns Haley (played by White), a plucky New Yorker (by way of Texas), who, after spending years as a divorced mom and restaurateur, resolves to re enter the world of dating, only to end up in hot water with the law and the Romanian mob. A semi-sweet paean to lonely-hearts everywhere, Bad Dates is about learning to take a closer look, and why, when it comes down to it, there's nothing in the world like a killer pair of Chanel pumps."

Tickets are $30. For information, call (212) 279-4200 or visit www.playwrightshorizons.org.
