The 8:30 PM concert is part of Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series, which kicks off its new season Jan. 23 with an evening with dramatic soprano Deborah Voigt.

The Fisher concert will feature songs from the Bernstein canon. Fisher will host the evening, which will also boast the talents of singing actors Gavin Creel and Kate Baldwin.

Gavin Creel — who is currently playing Bert in the London production of Mary Poppins — was most recently on Broadway playing Jean-Michel in the revival of La Cage aux Folles at the Marquis Theatre. He portrayed Hollis Bessemer in Sondheim and John Weidman's Bounce and starred as Jimmy in the Tony-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie (Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical). The actor was also seen in the City Center Encores! mounting of Hair and the Off-Broadway production of Bat Boy. His other theatrical credits include Honk!, Fame and the workshops of Spring Awakening, Hairspray and Wicked. Creel was also part of the cast of the TV films "Eloise at the Plaza" and "Eloise at Christmastime."

Kate Baldwin has appeared on Broadway in Wonderful Town, The Full Monty and Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as in the City Center Encores! productions of Babes in Arms, A Connecticut Yankee and Bloomer Girl. She was also part of the Paper Mill production of Hello, Dolly! Baldwin was Helen Hayes Award-nominated for playing Nellie in South Pacific at Arena Stage, and her numerous regional theatre credits include Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Pajama Game and White Christmas (in San Francisco, Detroit and currently in Toronto).

The former musical director of the City Center Encores! series, Rob Fisher is currently one of the conductors for the New York Pops Orchestra. He also conducted the New York Philharmonic concerts of Sweeney Todd and My Fair Lady as well as the Grammy-winning cast recording of the Chicago revival. Tickets for Rob Fisher Celebrates the Leonard Bernstein Songbook are priced $35-$70 and are available by calling (212) 721-6500 or by visiting www.lincolncenter.org.
