News Baltimore Booking of Urinetown Canceled The Baltimore stop of the national tour of Urinetown has been canceled due to low ticket sales, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The Tony Award-winning musical comedy, hailed as one of the funniest shows in recent years, was to have played The Lyric Opera House Dec. 29-Jan. 4, 2004. TheatreDreams, one of the producers of Urinetown, books shows into the Lyric in Baltimore.

The booking of Urinetown there was part of a new Broadway Show Club series that offers medium-sized shows such as the 20th anniversary Nunsense or major non-Equity tours such as Oliver! or kids' shows such as Bear in the Big Blue House Live.
