News Barbra Streisand to Play Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto and More Award-winning entertainer Barbra Streisand, who will open Brooklyn's Barclays Center this October with a new concert, has added dates in Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto and more.

Streisand will be joined by special guests Chris Botti and Il Volo on the following dates: Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 8 at the Wells Fargo Center); Montreal, QC (Oct. 17 at the Bell Centre); Ottawa, ON (Oct. 20 at the Scotiabank Plaza); Toronto, ON (Oct. 23 at the Air Canada Center) and Chicago, IL (Oct. 26 at the United Center).

Tickets go on sale to the general public Aug. 11 for the Philadelphia engagement, with the additional cities going on sale Aug. 13. A pre-sale will begin Aug. 9.

Streisand will make her first public performance in her hometown of Brooklyn Oct. 11 and 13 at the Barclays Center. The New York concerts are titled Back to Brooklyn.

Streisand is an artist in multiple disciplines. She is an award-winning actress, recording artist, concert performer, film director, producer, screenwriter, songwriter, philanthropist, designer, photographer, author and activist. Streisand is the only artist ever to receive an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Directors Guild of America, Golden Globe, National Medal of Arts and Peabody Awards as well as France's Legion d'Honneur and the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award. She is the recipient of two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Grammys, a Tony and 12 Golden Globes including the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She is also the first female film director to receive the Kennedy Center Honors. The three films she directed received 14 Oscar nominations.
