Directed by Mark Martino with choreography by Denis Jones, performances will continue through Oct. 10.

The cast will include Brent Barrett (Chicago, Annie Get Your Gun) as Lawrence Jameson, John Scherer (By Jeeves, Sunset Boulevard) as Andre Thibault and Jennifer Cody (Shrek the Musical, The Pajama Game) as Jolene Oaks. Additional casting will be announced at a later time.

Based on the popular 1988 MGM film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was penned by composer-lyricist David Yazbek and librettist Jeffrey Lane. The musical, according to the North Shore, "follows two very different con artists working their schemes on the French Riviera. Their high jinks result in a friendly competition to see which one can swindle an innocent heiress out of her fortune."

The North Shore is currently presenting Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat through Aug. 22.
