News Barrett Wilbert Weed Will Premiere New Solo Show At 54 Below Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers) will premiere her new solo show 9:30 PM Sept. 2 for a single performance at 54 Below cabaret in New York.

Production notes describe the show thus: "Barrett Wilbert Weed originated the role of Veronica Sawyer in Heathers: The Musical, which got her nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award and a Drama Desk Award. She lost both awards to earthbound goddesses Ruthie Ann Miles and Jessie Mueller, which is cooler than being nominated in the first place. Barrett was also Nadia in the 2012 revival of Bare and Denise in Found at The Atlantic Theatre Company. She is on the original cast recordings of Heathers and Fugitive Songs. Join Barrett for a night of her favorite songs. From John Mayer to Michael John LaChiusa. 'Barrett seamlessly combines expert vocal skills with a modern perspective and a deep passion for storytelling."

The concert will feature musical direction by Chris Miller (Burnt Part Boys, Fugitive Songs, Tuck Everlasting 2016).
