Actor-singers John Barrowman and Sam Harris will be part of this summer's Stackner Cabaret Series in Milwaukee, WI.
Sam Harris, who shot to fame on the TV series "Star Search," will play the Stackner July 19 (8 PM) and July 20 (6 and 9 PM). A Tony Award nominee for his performance in Cy Coleman's The Life, Harris' other theatrical credits include the Broadway revival of Grease!, the recent L.A. production of Hair and the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The multi-octave singer has also released several solo recordings including "Different Stages" and "Standard Time."
Barrowman, who is currently starring in the Kennedy Center production of Stephen Sondheim's Company, will perform at the Stackner Cabaret on August 2 (8 PM) and Aug. 3 (6 and 9 PM). The former star of Broadway's Putting It Together, will feature songs from his solo CD, "Reflections from Broadway," as well as tunes from his many theatre outings. In addition to his work on the London stage in such musicals as Miss Saigon, Grease, Anything Goes and Sunset Boulevard, Barrowman has also appeared on two U.S. television series, "Central Park West" and "Titans."
