Bartenders, the solo show written and performed by Lou Mustillo -- a third-generation bartender -- is a hit with local theatre audiences. The bar play has just extended at Theatre/Theater through Nov. 20, despite heavy competition from recent major fall theatre openings in Los Angeles.Singled out as "Pick of the Week" by Backstage West, L.A. Times and L.A. Weekly, Bartenders has been called "superb and brilliant," a show whose well-drawn characterizations "slamdunk the NYC bar scene."
