News Baseball Comedy Rounding Third Rounds Out San Jose Rep's Next Season Broadway took on the big leagues as the baseball drama Take Me Out transferred to the boards this season. Now, San Jose Rep brings the diamond to the stage once again, this time with the Little League comedy Rounding Third, March 20-April 18, 2004.

The Richard Dresser comedy completes the 2003-2004 season lineup for the California venue which also features Michael Frayn's Noises Off, Stephen Massicotte's Mary's Wedding, Charles L. Mee's Wintertime, an Anne Bogart-directed production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, S.N. Behrman's No Time For Comedy and Steve Martin's adaptation of Carl Sternheim's The Underpants.

Rounding Third delves into the world of Little League baseball as a team determined-to-win coach — who happens to be the father of the star pitcher — meets with opposition from his new assistant coach — father of the often last-picked kid — who believes the object of the game is for everyone to have fun.
