The reading at the Players Club will boast the talents of Bryan Batt, Veanne Cox, George S. Irving, Charlotte Moore, Ed Dixon, Graham Rowat, Loni Ackerman, Ezra Barnes, Emma Archid, William DeMeritt, John Martello and Marshall Factora. Critic David Sheward will host the 7 PM performance. Buoyant Billions, according to press notes, is "one of Shaw's wittiest and least known plays, written towards the end of his very long life. The plot: after WWII, a rich young man (Bryan Batt) decides to venture forth into the world and become a professional 'world betterer.' Along the way he meets a rich young saxophone playing heiress (Veanne Cox) who treats him so dreadfully that he becomes fascinated by her…and her entire peculiar family."

The Project Shaw series is produced and directed by David Staller, who acted with Dana Ivey in Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession at the Irish Repertory Theatre. The series intends to offer every sketch, full-length and one-act play by the late playwright.
