Bryan Batt, who is currently starring as Lumiere in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast, will host the second annual benefit for Transport Group on Oct. 28.

The evening will feature the vocal talents of more than 20 Broadway stars as well as a wine and champagne reception and a silent auction. As of press time, those scheduled to perform at the fundraiser include Judy Blazer, Alan Campbell, Lewis Cleale, Brian d'Arcy James, Daisy Egan, Harvey Evans, Alison Fraser, Boyd Gaines, James Hindman, Lauren Kennedy, Alix Korey, Sondra Lee, Karen Mason, Debra Monk, Dana Moore, Kerry O'Malley, Faith Prince, Anne Runolfsson, Mary Stout and Barbara Walsh.

Among the items that will be part of the silent auction are a private Fosse master class give by original Fosse dancer Dana Moore; an original customized song written by the legendary Cy Coleman; a walk-on role in a television show (name to be announced shortly) as well as exclusive items donated by Pete Sampras, Nicole Kidman and other luminaries.

The evening, which begins at 7:30 PM, will be held at 45 Bleecker. Tickets are priced between $75 and $1,000 and are available by calling (212) 560-4372.

The Transport Group season begins Feb. 1 at the Connelly Theater with a production of Requiem for William, which is based on several one-act plays by William Inge. Jack Cummings III, who conceived the play, will direct.
