Presented by Second Generation, the evening celebrates Asian-Americans in the performing arts. Held at Lincoln Center's New York State Theater, the gala concert will present Rémy X.O Excellence Awards to the aforementioned Wong and Phillips as well as to Bai Ling ("Star Wars: Episode III") and Jadin Wong ("Forbidden City"). John Cho and Lindsay Price will co-host the evening, which playwright David Henry Hwang calls "the most professional, most fun and most prestigious event of its kind for Asian and Asian-American artists." The evening's entertainment is being assembled by Second Generation's artistic director Welly Yang, Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown and Lucille Lortel Award-winning director/choreographer Devanand Janki. Among the performers taking part in the evening include Jose Llana, Emily Hsu, Erin Quill, Marcus Choi, Tyley Ross and Dina Morishita. Composer Brown has composed the evening's opening number.
