News Beach, Kudisch, Green and Schaffel Set for Project Shaw One-Acts Tony Award winner Gary Beach will take part in Project Shaw's evening of one-act comedies at the Players Club on April 20.

Produced and directed by David Staller, the 7 PM evening will also feature Amanda Green, Marc Kudisch, Jay Rogers, Marla Schaffel and Mark Waldrop, who will appear in Shaw's Inca of Perusalem, Arthur and the Acetone and Interlude at the Playhouse. Mark Blankenship will host.

In Inca of Perusalem, "A spoiled, wealthy heiress (Marla Schaffel) first dupes a princess (Amanda Green) and then the infamous Inca of Perusalem (Marc Kudisch)."

For Arthur and the Acetone, "Shaw takes on a particularly British sort of anti-Semitism with hilarious results."

And for Interlude at the Playhouse, "A theatre manager (Gary Beach) is trying to get his new theatre opened but it's his wife (Amanda Green) who saves the day."

Project Shaw will continue with Glimpse of Reality/The Man of Destiny (May 18), Six of Calais/Simpleton of the Unexpected Isles (June 15), Mrs. Warren's Profession (July 20), Back to Methuselah (Part One) (Sept. 21), Back to Methuselah (Part Two) (Oct. 19), On the Rocks (Nov. 16) and Why She Would Not (Dec. 14).
