Yoba stars as Stuart Banks, a wealthy lawyer whose girlfriend Denise Washington is craving the only thing she hasn't gotten from him yet -- a proposal. Gospel's Kirk Franklin and Donald Lawrence penned some of the tunes for the David E. Talbert script. Talbert is best known for his other gospel tours Mr. Right Now! and He Say She Say...But What Does God Say, a basis for the TV show "Good News."

Yoba is best known for his role of J.C. Williams on "New York Undercover," for which he was awarded three NAACP Awards. His stage credits include Equus, A Teenage Soap and Growing Up and Other Heroic Needs.

Also in the cast are Tony Terry (Tin Man in The Wiz tour with Peabo Bryson and Grace Jones) and Lecresia Campbell.

A recording of His Woman His Wife will be released in Feb. with performances from Yoba, Destiny's Child, Donal Holister and others. Tickets are $32.50-$22.50. The Beacon Theatre is located at 74th Street and Broadway. For reservations, call (212) 307-7171.
