News Bebe Neuwirth, Christina Ricci, Anthony Heald Go Into the Woods of Shakespeare's Midsummer in NYC Tony Award nominee Anthony Heald and performance artist and songwriter Taylor Mac are among the troupers joining Tony winner Bebe Neuwith and Christina Ricci in the woods outside Athens for Classic Stage Company's new production of the fantasy-comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream, starting April 4.

Director Tony Speciale's cast includes two-time Tony winner Neuwirth (Hippolyta/Titania) and film/television/stage star Ricci (Hermia), plus Jordan Dean (Demetrius), Nick Gehlfuss (Lysander), playwright-actor David Greenspan (Flute/Fairy), Halley Wegryn Gross (Helena), Heald (Theseus/Oberon), Erin Hill (Starveling/Fairy), Chad Lindsey (Snout/Fairy), Mac (Egeus/Puck), James Patrick Nelson (Snug/Fairy), Steven Skybell (Bottom) and Rob Yang (Quince/Fairy).

Opening night at CSC's home at 136 E. 13th Street in Manhattan is April 29. This limited run plays to May 20. The director staged Unnatural Acts for CSC.

Heald is a two-time Tony Award nominee (Love! Valour! Compassion! and Lincoln Center's Anything Goes) and a three-time Obie Award winner. Also know for TV's "Boston Public" and "The Practice," he returns to the New York stage for the first time in 16 years since moving to Oregon and being a member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival acting company.

Mac is the acclaimed performer, playwright and singer-songwriter whose plays include The Walk Across America For Mother Earth and The Lily's Revenge.

Film star Ricci ("The Addams Family") made her Broadway debut in Time Stands Still. Neuwirth is a two-time Tony Award winner for her work in Sweet Charity and Chicago. The production team includes Mark Wendland (scenic design) and Andrea Lauer (costume design), with original music and sound design by Christian Frederickson and Ryan Rumery.
