News Bebe Neuwirth Will Direct 20th Anniversary of Nothing Like a Dame The benefit concert will be held at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

The 20th anniversary of Nothing Like a Dame, the starry concerts that benefit the Actors Fund's Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, will be held October 24 at 7:30 PM at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, 261 W. 47th St.

Two-time Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth will direct the evening, which is billed as “All Singing! All Dancing! All Women!” Performers will be announced at a later date.

The benefit, according to the Actors Fund website, will also include the presentation of the first Phyllis Newman Dame Award to multiple Tony nominee Marin Mazzie, most recently on Broadway in the revival of The King and I.

Phyllis Newman produces. The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative “addresses the myriad concerns women face when dealing with a serious medical condition.”
