Becca Tobin, who appeared in Broadway's Rock of Ages, and Melissa Benoist, who has been seen on television's "Homeland" and "The Good Wife," have been cast in recurring roles on the Fox hit musical series "Glee," according to

Benoist and Tobin will play new McKinley High students Marley and Kitty, respectively. As previously announced, Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist will also recur on the series' fourth season in the respective roles of Brody Weston, a handsome upperclassman at the fictional New York Academy of Dramatic Arts who shows an interest in Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), and Puck's (Mark Salling) bad-boy younger brother who auditions for the McKinley High glee club.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy, who recently joined Twitter, shared more than just casting news via the popular social networking website. "GLEE S4 Q&A in the morning," Murphy tweeted from his new account, @MrRPMurphy, July 30.

As for the "Glee" newcomers, Murphy shared a picture of Artist and Benoist, saying, "GLEE's amazingly adorable new choir room additions, Jacob Artist and Melissa Benoist...soon to be known as JARLEY."

He also tweeted that he would like to add Tony and Oscar Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones to the upcoming season. When asked if Blaine's (Darren Criss) father will appear this season, Murphy replied, "Not sure, but you know who I want as BLAINE's mom? Catherine Zeta-Jones!"

The series' co-creator also confirmed that in the upcoming season, Kurt (Chris Colfer) will "triumph" at, and guest star Sarah Jessica Parker's costumes will be chosen by Vogue editor Anna Wintour; the first group number of the season will be Adele's "Chasing Pavements"; Sam (Chord Overstreet) will have a new girlfriend; a much-anticipated episode will be entitled "The Break-Up"; and the students will reunite for the holidays in a two-part Thanksgiving episode, when sectionals will commence. Before he wrapped up his Twitter Q&A, Murphy reached out to a former "Glee" guest star via Twitter, saying, "@GwynethPaltrow can come back anytime she wants! How about Gwyneth with Kate Hudson?"
