Video Behind the Scenes at The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show Tyler Mount peels back the curtain on some of the magic happening at this long-running family-friendly puppet show.

Since it was first published in 1969, Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar has delighted generations of readers young and old. Starting in Australia in 2015, the illustrated classic made its way off the page and onto the stage, eventually landing in New York for a record-breaking run in 2016.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is currently playing at the DR2 Theatre where it continues to inspire awe and wonder in families and children alike. We sent Tyler Mount backstage to chat to creator Jonathan Rockefeller, and for an up-close look at some of the puppets used in the show, along with puppeteers Jake Bazel, Kirsty Sadler, and Arlee Chadwick.
